What Does a Typical Day as a Lawn Care Technician at Oasis Turf & Tree Look Like?

At Oasis Turf & Tree, our technicians follow a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday. They typically start at 7:00 a.m. and finish around 5:00 p.m., depending on their assigned route and completion time. 

Morning:

● Begin day’s route at 7 a.m.

● Review route schedule, customer notes, and any special service instructions

● Travel to the first scheduled service location

Throughout the day:

● Apply fertilizer and weed control treatments at each property

● Document all completed work and record any observations including any        weed or turf issues identified during the visit

● Communicate with customers about their property

End of day:

● Complete route around 4:30 p.m.

● Return to the office

● Restock and prepare the service van for the following day’s route

Because of our extensive customer base, technicians often complete 1–10 service visits without needing to move their van. In most cases, technicians spend their day working within just one or two neighborhoods along their assigned route.

During our busiest times of the year, we experience a significant increase in customer demand. As a result, technicians may take on larger routes and complete more service visits throughout the day.

During the busy season, technicians may occasionally work until 6:00 p.m. to complete their routes. If unforeseen circumstances prevent all scheduled stops from being completed by then, any remaining services will be prioritized and added to the next day's schedule.
