Starting as a lawn care technician in 2016, David Lee has spent the past 10 years growing with Oasis Turf & Tree. Today, he serves as the company’s Master II Quality Assurance Director, bringing extensive field experience and a deep understanding of the industry to his role. He began his career in the lawn care industry in 2011, working part-time in the grounds department for Findlay City Schools while attending college. After a year in the role, he transitioned to a full-time position in 2012. Throughout his career, he has earned several industry credentials, including licenses from the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, as well as certifications through the National Association of Landscape Professionals. At Oasis Turf & Tree, David Lee leads employee onboarding, manages the quality assurance team, and provides hands-on training to help technicians succeed in their certification exams. With a strong focus on education and continuous improvement, he works closely with employees across the company, offering guidance, coaching, and support whenever possible. David Lee has played a key role in helping Oasis Turf & Tree achieve the highest number of licensed technicians of any lawn care company in Ohio, while also contributing to the efforts that earned the company the National Association of Landscape Professionals' Award of Excellence for exceptional results. When he's not at work, David enjoys cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and making memories with his wife, Caris, and daughter, Marlow. In fact, he jokes that Marlow has been to more Reds games in the past two years than he had been to in the previous 20. Before finding his career in the lawn care industry, David originally planned to teach environmental studies. Outside of work, he's also an avid hiker, enjoys spending time outdoors, plays the drums, and is kept busy by his two four-legged sidekicks, Burt and Belfast.
